Hi, I’m CJ, born and raised in Tokyo with family roots going back three generations — and a strong influence from my American Jewish mother. My journey took me to Israel, where I spent three years during high school, learning Hebrew and embracing the local culture.
Back in Japan, I set my sights on entrepreneurship, and in July 2023, I founded See Jay Company as a freelance guide. In September 2025, we officially became See Jay Co.,Ltd marking the start of an exciting new chapter.
Why “See Jay”? The name comes from the Jay bird sometimes migratory, sometimes rooted, just like us. It also plays on my nickname, CJ so you can “see the Jay taking flight.”
